IndusInd Bank | CMP: Rs 1,172 | The share was up over 2 percent after the private sector lender reported a 72.1 percent year-on-year (YoY) growth in standalone profit at Rs 1,114 crore in the quarter ended September 2021, with a drop in bad loans provisions and non-performing assets (NPAs). Higher other income and operating profit also supported profitability. Net interest income grew by 11.6 percent to Rs 3,658.40 crore from the year-ago quarter.

The company’s risk management committee, after a review of the situation, has decided to work on a plan on exiting investments in Myanmar, including exploring any divestment opportunities (Expected to be concluded by March-June 2022), it said.

The FMCG major reported a standalone post-tax profit of Rs 3,697 crore for the quarter, increasing 14 percent from Rs 3,253 crore reported in the same quarter last year and 23 percent from Rs 3,013 crore posted in the June quarter. The standalone revenues came in higher at Rs 13,553 crore for the quarter, an increase of 12 percent, compared to Rs 12,103 crore reported in the September 2020 quarter and by 5 percent from Rs 12,959 crore reported in the June quarter this year.

Coromandel International | CMP: Rs 793 | The stock ended in the red after the company’s net profit went down 11.8% at Rs 519.3 crore against Rs 588.9 crore (YoY). Revenue jumped 133.3% at Rs 6,147.5 crore against Rs 4,611.3 crore (YoY). EBITDA fell 11.8% at Rs 743.2 crore against Rs 843.1 crore (YoY).
