Assicurazioni Generali SpA will start a share-buyback program worth up to 210 million euros ($ 227.5 million), its said late Thursday.
The Italian insurer G, -0.88% said it would buy back a maximum of 10.5 million shares from Friday, to end by March, as part of its long-term incentive plan from 2022-24.
The maximum purchase price can’t exceed 5% of the price during the stock-exchange session on the prior day, it added.
