Currently, the player with the best betting odds to be selected with the first overall pick by the Jacksonville Jaguars is defensive lineman Travon Walker. Walker is followed by Aidan Hutchinson and Ikem Ekwonu, according to DraftKings DKNG, -5.01% sportsbook.
How much will the draft picks earn on their contracts?
The contracts of the players selected during Thursday’s first round of the draft will be based on where they are selected as the NFL has a rookie wage scale, which assigns dollar amounts to specific draft slots. The higher a player is drafted, the more lucrative their overall contract and signing bonus are.
