Wockhardt share price rose 5 percent intraday to Rs 408.10 on February 8 after the company received DCGI (Drugs Controller General of India) nod to export up to 100 mn doses of Sputnik vaccines.
Wockhardt has received permission to export up to 80 million doses of Sputnik Light and up to 20 million doses of Sputnik V Component I vaccine, the company said in its release.
This comes after Wockhardt’s bulk vaccine and fill-finish facilities at Waluj and Shendra, Aurangabad were inspected and approved.

Wockhardt has entered into an agreement with Russian Direct Investment Fund and Enso Healthcare to manufacture and supply Sputnik V and Sputnik Light vaccines against COVID-19 based on a technology transfer from Gamaleya National Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology.
