Kalpataru Power gains 5% on order win worth Rs 875 crore
Shares of Kalpataru Power Transmission added more than 5 percent in the early trade on Wednesday on the back of order win in domestic and international market.
The company has secured new orders / notification of award of Rs 875 crore, which includes 2 orders totalling Rs 278 crore for design, supply and construction of transmission lines in India.
It also includes, 3 orders totalling Rs 597 crore for design, supply and construction of transmission lines in Afghanistan, Ivory Coast and Bangladesh.
Manish Mohnot, Managing Director & CEO of Kalpataru Power said, “We have received orders of Rs 5,900 crore till date in the current financial year. The current orders are in the core transmission business including an order from a private client in India.”
“We have added one more country to our international operations which will help us further strengthen our presence in the African market,” he added.
The share touched its 52-week high Rs 473.60 and 52-week low Rs 221 on 27 November, 2017 and 23 December, 2016, respectively.
Currently, it is trading 3.89 percent below its 52-week high and 105.97 percent above its 52-week low.
At 09:23 hrs Kalpataru Power Transmission was quoting at Rs 455.20, up Rs 16.10, or 3.67 percent on the BSE.
