03:00 PM: Aditya Birla Nuvo reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 890.13 crore for the year ended March 2012 against Rs 822.10 crore a year ago. Net sales stood at Rs 21592.48 crore for the year against Rs 17982.27 crore last fiscal.
02:45 PM: Shree Cement declared second interim dividend of Rs 6 per equity share for the year 2011-12.
02:30 PM: Vardhman Holdings recommended a dividend of Rs 2.50 on shares of face value Rs 10 each.

01:00 PM: Shares of Bharti Airtel slipped into the negative territory on reports that the Enforcement Directorate is probing a money laundering case against the company. The stock fell 1.30 percent to Rs 303.45 on the BSE. It has touched a high of Rs 308.50 and a low of Rs 302.20 in trade today.
12:30 PM: Gold slipped to $ 1555, down by $ 2 per ounce, on concerns of Greece’s exit from eurozone.

10:45 AM: Everonn Education reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 63.03 crore for the quarter ended March 2012 compared to a net profit of Rs 26.20 crore in the same period a year ago. Net sales increased to Rs 89.77 crore for the quarter compared to Rs 133.87 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal.

09:20 AM: The rupee pulled back after breaching below 54 per dollar level in opening trade. According to dealers, the RBI seems to have sold dollars near 54.15 levels. The partially convertible rupee was at 53.68, up 28 paise against previous close of 53.97.
09:16 AM: The Bombay Stock Exchange’s Sensex opened in the red in line with Asian peers as concerns of possible exit of Greece from the European Union keep bulls on the sidelines.
08:55 AM: Overnight, US stocks fell on concerns over European debt crisis. The S&P 500 finished lower for the fourth day to close at its lowest level since February.
08:50 AM: The Dow Jones industrial average dropped 125.25 points, or 0.98 percent, to close at 12,695.35. The Standard & Poor’s 500 Index lost 15.04 points, or 1.11 percent, to 1,338.35. The Nasdaq Composite Index fell 31.24 points, or 1.06 percent, to 2,902.58.
08:45 AM: Asian shares fell on Tuesday as investors preferred to stay on the sidelines and sought refuge from the political turmoil fuelling fears of Greece’s exit from the euro.
08:40 AM: Japan’s Nikkei 225 index was trading 1.2% lower at 8,864.75 and Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index was trading higher at 19,754.12, up 0.10%. South Korea’s Kospi index was trading 1.5% lower at 1885.45. China’s Shanghai index was trading at 2364, down 0.6%.
