Eurotunnel to link France and UK electricity
Posted on Friday, May 27, 2011 - 00:01 amEurotunnel has decided to use its link between France and the UK for a new electricity interconnector capable of carrying 500MW between the two countries.
The twin cables, planned to run beneath the Channel through an existing service tunnel, will add 25 per cent to the ability of the two neighbours to exchange electricity.
